Model: Sea Bird Yawl
Cockpit: It's26 ft stem to sturn copit big enouph for fishing and or picnining
Cabin: The cabin is low but can sleep two comfortable.I did it with three. Has a head .A cooler stove .A little storage space.I always made do.I sailed her alone most of the time.
Construction: Yes She's made of white pine over green oak Fastemd with hot gelv screws.Led balest keel .Draws 4 ft water.Full keel.Her mast are spruce.and she gaff rig.
Handling: She handles great in calm and heavy seas.Under sail. Under Power very good. She is a 6 kt boat.For seaworthy She great.
Engine Room: I powered the boat with a 9.9 yamaha 4 stroke outboard.And she can make 6 kt's As for cons in heavy sea's she's slow. Very good on gas.
General Comments: I ues her mosteley for day sailing. And crusing . I raced her a few times.I am at the American Yacht club in Newburyport Ma. Oh I had her for 35 yr's Been in water ever since.
