Boat Reviews By Owners

2003 -- 23' 4" SEA HUNT

Model: Triton 232

Cockpit: Great layout, plenty of room between the console & gunwale. The boat comes w/ a tinted wind screen. I purchased a clear one a year later($95). The tinted is a problem for day & night visability. I believe Seahunt 2005 come w/ clear standard

Cabin: Room for a potra-potti, but use mine just for storage. Electrical connections neat & tucked away. Leaks a little durring cleaning or hard rain

Construction: Solid built fishing machine! I had some problems w/ stress cracks @ the corners of the gunwale and gas tank cover. The were repaired by dealer. The stress cracks @ the guwale have come back but they are just cosmetic...I'll repair just before I trade her up (heard there is a SH 26' for 2006)

Handling: A good seaworthy vesal. powered w/ 200HPDI she cruises @ 35 well and tops @ 44-46. The sharp entry bow makes her handle well in rough seas but can be tricky when going slow through a rough pass or large multipul wake.

Engine Room: Yamaha 200HPDI is great. I have also heard the 225 4-stroke is a great combo. If I could do it again I would opt for the 250HPDI.

General Comments: This is my third (Never Satisfied III) boat. We use the boat for fishing off the Panhandle of Florida & around the lakes here in Atlanta. This is the best boat I have ever owned and fully intend on purchasing Seahunts 26' Triton when it hits the market.
