Boat Reviews By Owners

2003 -- 24' 0" MAXUM

Model: 2400SR

Cockpit: This is about the only thing that I do like about this boat although that center cover for the steering wheel always falls off. This is a replacement steering wheel the original one was flaking apart and was replaced with the current P.O.S.

Construction: There could have been some thought put into this design to get to the motor you need to remove 3 seat cousins then remove 2 cousin supports then you can get at the motor. Then to top it off under 2 of the 3 cousins there is a built in cooler under each cousin. I have never used these cooler. There is a fabric keeps falling off it has been glued back on more times then I can count.

Handling: If like to lean then this boat is for you. I did not notice it at first but the boat leans to starboard while you go straight so if you have 1 leg shorter then the other this boat is for you. I have thought about installing trim tabs to correct this problem.

Engine Room: 350 Mag with a Brovo III 300 HP

General Comments: I donít know what I was thinking when I bought this P.O.S. never again will I buy a Maxum product as long as I live.
