Boat Reviews By Owners

1961 -- 30' 0" CHRIS CRAFT

Model: SeaSkiff

Cockpit: Very good multi purpose cockpit over 10' by 9'. Helm visibility is pretty good at most speeds, although at 6'4" tend to hit my head often.

Cabin: Nice roomy cabin, with enclosed head. Double V berth. Good for overnight or day cruiser, but can get cramped over a rainy weekend.

Construction: Very well built, lapstrake hull, screwed and glued, virtually eliminates soaking. One of the last years for the hardwood transom.

Handling: Handles high seas very well, very seaworthy and dry.

Engine Room: She is powered by twin 283 chevrolets, very dependable, and efficent and they move her to a nice 18 mph cruise and 30 mph top end.

General Comments: She is a very nice boat overall very well suited for fishing, partying or just plain cruising.
