Boat Reviews By Owners

2004 -- 27' 3" BAYLINER

Model: 242 Classic

Cockpit: Helm visibility is excellent, and with the single starboard wiper, visibility is good even in the rain. Breakers are easily accessable and the large brushed metal gages are easy to read. There are also 2 empty gages for possible customization.

Cabin: Awesome, roomy and bright cabin. Lots of functional windows. I love the galley, the seating for four and the head that is perfectly sized.

Construction: Beautiful, solid.

Handling: Port/Stbd electro-hydraulic trim tabs help customize the ride, and the bravo 2 sterndrive propels this 5500 pound cruiser well.

Engine Room: 5.7L optional mercruiser paired to a bravo 2 sterndrive provides for good cruising mileage as well as powerful drive through tough waters.

General Comments: I absoultely LOVE it. I wouldn't trade my 242 for anything shy of a Meridian 409! I love that I can totally trailer it with my 2002 GMC Yukon Denali.
