Boat Reviews By Owners
1972 -- 33' 4" OWENS
Model: concorde
Cockpit: Large cockpit 12 foot x 10 foot teak deck, excellent space for fisherman, or party's.
Cabin: Cabin has "VEE" berth bunk beds, couch in the salon area opens to sleep 4 total. Great layout, fridge, sink, microwave, electric stove with oven, counterspace, etc. Enclosed head with shower. Dining table easily seats 4.
Construction: Heavy fiberglass, well built hull and superstructure. Teak main deck.
Handling: This boat handles rough seas or light breeze excellent with no really bad habits. I use her as a charter boat taking people out along the coastal fishing ares of the North Atlantic waters on a daily basis. Rough or calm she is steady and true.
Engine Room: This boat is powered with twin 340ci Chrysler gas engines. They are not as powerful as I would like. The boat came with a diesel configuration as an option. Even so, 250hp cruises best around 16 knots, economically for inboard gasser.
General Comments: Coastal fisherman out to 50 miles, is good solid well built boat, with no real problems. Is a great sportfisherman, Tuna seem attracted to it.
