Boat Reviews By Owners

1979 -- 23' 4" GLASTRON CARLSON

Model: cv23

Cockpit: Big boat but only seats four, has built in area for icechest. Easy to walk around in but hard to get to front of boat.

Cabin: Cabin is small but ok for overnite stays. Also installed port-a pottie

Construction: Build quality is ok for a mass produced boat. Very nice molded in swim platform and sunpad with storage underneath

Handling: Berkeley jet wanders at low speed but you get use to it fast. Also acceleration is much faster than prop and maintenance is easy.

Engine Room: 460 Ford brute torque. With low gas and one person can get close to 60mph. Gas mileage isn't that bad.

General Comments: Boat is a river and lake boat. Not enough freeboard for big water but rides great on a lake. I payed 6k for it when I bought it and this is a deal when you see new boats the same or smaller size for 30k.
