Boat Reviews By Owners

2007 -- 24' 0" SEA RAY

Model: 240 Sundeck

Cockpit: great layout, good for overall family use, watersports, etc.

Cabin: no closed cabin

Construction: we have had numerous quality problems with our boat. very disappointing in this regard

Handling: handles fine

Engine Room: 350 V8 Mercruiser inboard engine

General Comments: We had alway heard great things about Sea Ray's reputation and quality, and we have been severely disappointed. We bought our boat brand new a year ago and these are the issues we've had in one year with a brand new boat: engine stalls due to crimped fuel line, broken latches on deck storage compartments, cracked head unit causing leakage (not pleasant), broken latch on head door (door had to be tied shut with a rope), faulty guages (had to be taken in 2 different times for the same problem), cupholders falling out. Like I said, for a supposedly superior quality reputation, our Sea Ray has been a real lemon. I will not buy another one.
