Boat Reviews By Owners

2006 -- 25' 5" MAYCRAFT

Model: 2550cc

Cockpit: alot of fishing room for offshore fishing, Looking over the helm is a breezy with the electronics i installed in the CC

Cabin: no cabin

Construction: very well built , Takes the big seas when i need it and can come up to the beach with no problem

Handling: Planes off fast with the e-tec 225 , I mostly ride about 30 mph @4600 rpm , Gas economy is great a whole day fishing and trolling about $50. boat is well constructed and heavy,We feel very safe 20 to 30 miles off shore, even when a storm brews up, ride is semi dry

Engine Room: e tec 225 cruse 30 mph top speed 42 mph i am thinking of going up to a 250 or 300 just for a little more top speed when a storm brews

General Comments: Im a weekend fisherman and love the boat for fishing. we troll offshore and find it very easy to control a fish all around the boat. Just wish they would make a bigger consoul for the port a poti. @ 6 ft 250 lb it is hard to go ( if you know what i mean) not enough height down there
