2006 -- 26' 4" SEARAY
Model: 240 Sundeck
Cockpit: Easy to manuver, very comfortable helm with bolster seat, controls are easy to read in any weather. Great all around boat for day tripping, picnicing, beaching or even fishing. Looks great from any angle.
Cabin: No cabin on this ship but lots of incredible storage and a very useable head cabin with sink and mirror
Construction: Very good quality is evident on this boat however I would think Searay should re-engineer the anchor locker door to open sideways instead front to back.
Handling: Handles very well in calm and rough seas. Have had the boat in 6-8 foot seas and did not feel like I would be in trouble.
Engine Room: The boat is powered by a 5.0L Mercruiser with a Bravo 3 twin prop drive. 260 HP is good but more power is better if you like to drive really fast. It will top out around 43mph. Fuel usage is good until you drivbe above 3500 RPM.
General Comments: We use the Sundeck mainly for day tripping to the local beaches or cities in central western florida. Most cruising is done in the gulf and the intercoastal waterway.
