Boat Reviews By Owners

2006 -- 25' 0" LARSON

Model: 240 Cabrio

Cockpit: Cockpit is very nice with good visibility. The lay out with the folding rear seat allows you enough space for some fishing.

Cabin: The V berth is ackward and because of the design is not good for two people. We use the middle cabin for storage and one person to sleep. Air conditioning is a must if you want to overnight during the summer months as cabin ventillation is not to good.

Construction: The hull is solid but found lots of debrie in the bottom, left from contruction, which clogged the rear water pump. The hardware quality is so poor that all screws have rust crying into the gel coat. The washers for the swim platform are galvanized stell and are all rusted.

Handling: The boat handles well in all sea conditions, the hull design is good and efficient. With a Volvo 5.0 GXI duo prop handling is excellent.

Engine Room: The 270hp engine provides plenty of power for this boat. I cruise @ 3200 rpms, 26 knots using 7.5 gals an hour, which is very economical.

General Comments: This is a great day boat that can occasionally be used for overnight. I wish the manufacturer would have paid more attention to the harware and cabin layout.
