Boat Reviews By Owners

1988 -- 33' 0" JEANNEAU

Model: Bahamas 33

Cockpit: Cockpit is 5', helm visibility is good. Ideal for two to four for lunch or two for serious fishing.

Cabin: This vessel has a double cabin layout. Both cabins have double beds. Master stateroom has a V-berth bed, hanging locker and vanity with bench and mirror/cabinet. Second stateroom has double bed, hanging locker and small bench. Salon has L-shaped setee, covered "galley" area with refrigerator, microwave, sink with H & C pressure water. Inside helm located here with chart case. Visibility for inside opeation very good.

Construction: Hull is Kevlar. Fittings quite substantial, rails larger than most. Half tower sturdy.

Handling: Vessel is very responsive and cruises comfortably at 22 Knots. Quite seaworthy in 3' or less seas. Only 12,000 pounds, but has a keel.

Engine Room: twin 200 HP Volve Diesels.

General Comments: Just purchased the vessel in November. Planning to take her to Bahamas -- northern parts. She is located in Fort Myers FL. We plan to use her locally for day and 1 week trips and for two month trips to islands.
